Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Represent lenders in a variety of real estate finance transactions.
• Structuring, negotiating, and documenting complex real estate and finance transactions
• Conduct thorough due diligence on real estate transactions, including reviewing title and survey, corporate organizational documents, opinions, and leases
• Provide legal advice on real estate finance matters, including regulatory compliance, risk management, and transaction structuring.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure smooth transaction processes.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be a licensed attorney in NJ and NY
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate finance law
• Proven experience in representing lenders in a variety of real estate finance transactions.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex legal issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
