We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Permanent Controller - Manufacturing. This position is integral to our organization, providing financial leadership and strategy to our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and providing strategic financial input to senior management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in cost accounting to contribute to the growth and success of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all cost accounting and financial activities for the manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement financial strategies for the manufacturing department.
• Prepare and present financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and financial statements to senior management.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, make forecasts, and develop cost reduction strategies.
• Work closely with manufacturing management to improve financial performance and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
• Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory actions.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or CPA would be considered an asset.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience in cost accounting is required.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of economic and financial trends affecting the manufacturing industry.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
