Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Attorney (Trust and Estate), you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
1. Drafting, reviewing, and implementing estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
2. Providing comprehensive legal advice to clients on matters pertaining to trust and estate law.
3. Assisting clients in understanding the complexities of estate planning, and guiding them through the process to ensure their wishes are properly documented and executed.
4. Representing clients in probate court proceedings, and advocating on their behalf in disputes related to trusts and estates.
5. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to provide top-tier legal services.
6. Staying updated on the latest developments in trust and estate law, and applying this knowledge to benefit our clients.
7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and ensuring their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Attorney (Trust and Estate) position will possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in trust and estate law, with a proven track record of success.
4. Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
5. Extensive knowledge of estate planning strategies and techniques.
6. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal solutions.
8. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
